Frames

Wood working is another of my hobbies and each picture frame is created from raw pine timber.

  • Each length of timber is run through a table saw. I usually use between a 1″ and 2″ width.
  • Using a router and table I can create a unique molding that is different every time.
  • The picture frame is cut at 45 degrees angles at the correct length to the canvas board.
  • The wood is then sealed with either linseed oil or painted.
  • Finally the finishing hanging accessories are fitted.
