Paint Peggy’s Cove July 11-13
Thank you to everyone for your comments and encouragement. It was an awesome couple of days that I painted, even in the rain, and I would like to say a huge thank you to those who brought my paintings. It was so amazing to meet the two couples who took a photo with me and who came to say that you had brought my art. This was so special as I have never sold a painting before and everything I did sold. I still feel dazed and cannot stop smiling.

Frog on Daffodils
This painting was from a photo taken when we noticed a frog on our daffodils. It had been raining so the daffodils where also covered with water droplets. This acrylic painting is on a 14” x 11″ stretched canvas board.

Bluenose at Peggy’s Cove
This painting started with the sky, as many of my paintings. I wanted a night sky where the light reflects under the clouds rather than on top. Then I was stuck for what to paint under the sky. I took a photo of the Bluenose while on a whale watching trip and decided to paint that and Peggy’s Cove in the distance. There is literally only one place where you can see the light house close up, across the sea and be standing on land – it’s at the Whales Back. This acrylic painting is on a 16” x 12” canvas board. It looks great in a 2” handmade signed…
